My last finals week

This is my last finals week EVER. Hallelujah! I am so happy I never have to worry about another finals week. It is honestly the worst week of the entire semester, as everyone knows, and it is so easy to get stressed out real quick. I studied ALL day yesterday, and will be doing that for the rest of the week, I have a cold sore, and I'm praying I make it through. This is how I'm surviving finals week and keeping my stress levels at bay:

1. Stay organized: My planner is my best friend. I have to write everything down that I need to get done otherwise I will constantly think about it until I finish. Writing everything down helps get everything off my mind and then I can just check things off of my written list.

2. Study in a coffee shop: Nothing makes studying fun, but studying in a coffee shop at least gives me a little treat to look forward to. Not only that, but I focus a lot better in a coffee shop with no distractions versus studying at home (at this point I hate studying in the library.)

3. Workout: For my study breaks I hit the gym. It really helps me to relieve some stress and it puts my mind on something other than tax laws and audit procedures... Fun right?

4. Drink tea: I've been having a hard time falling asleep lately, and shutting my brain down at night. Although my brain and body are so tired at the end of the day, it's hard for me to completely shut down and turn it off. I'm constantly thinking about what I have to do the next day and reviewing in my head. Drinking sleepy time tea or stress relief tea about an hour before bed helps to relax my mind and slow me down.

5. Stress relieving essential oil blends: In my diffuser I've been using a blend of EOs called "stress free" and "rest and relax" which are blends including lavender, roman chamomile, and more. This also helps to put my minds at ease and the scents are so calming. If you don't have a diffuser just light a nice candle, that helps as well.

Just wanted to quickly mention how surprisingly good my skin looks right now. It's finals week and that time of the month (sorry TMI) and my skin is SO clear. Seriously not one blemish. I am so shocked at how this natural skincare routine is working for me and currently I am using all of my own products! I am still throwing in some MOSS products here and there, but what I use daily is all my own. Can't wait to share my skincare routine with you in a post soon. I'm still working on perfecting formulations with my products and I have a few tested and AMAZING ones. Let me know if you would like to try any so I can get more feedback.

Happy finals week! Back to the books I go...

P.S. Be on the lookout for my next post, it's been a tough one to write, but I believe it's a good one.
