Brown Smokey Eye

This past weekend I graduated from LSU YAY! After graduation on Friday, we packed up and left for the beach on Saturday. We are enjoying the beach and relaxation for a whole week...Heavenly. I can't remember the last time I had a vacation so this was much needed. Sunday my parents took us out to have a fancy dinner to celebrate our graduation. I decided I wanted to go all out with my makeup. I haven't gone all out in a while as I haven't had time and I've missed doing makeup so much! I loved the way this brown smokey eye turned out and my wings were even, hallelujah! I created this using the Lorac Pro 2 palette, still one of my favorites and so easy to travel with. I finished the look off with a peachy nude lip. If you want to know the details keep reading!
I can't wait to get my nice camera to have better quality pictures. That's my next big purchase :) Until then, this will have to do.
A little look into my mess of getting ready. For this look I knew I wanted a sharp line so I taped the corners of my eyes before beginning. If you do this make sure to take most of the stickiness off on the back of your hand before putting it on your eyes so that it doesn't pull at your eyes when removing.
First, with a fluffy brush I used the color 'buff' all over the lid. Then, with a sigma E55, I packed 'rose' on to the lower lid. Using a sigma E40 I worked 'lt. brown' into the crease using windshield wiper motions. Then using a sigma E25 I used 'mocha' on the outer part of the lid and blended it slightly up into the crease. To darken things up I took the shade 'cocoa' on a Morphe M321 and darkened up the outer V. Lastly I added a little bit of 'beige' right under the brow to highlight. Once I finished the rest of my makeup, I took what was leftover on my sigma E25 and Morphe M321 and blended that out under the eye. For my wing I used Kat Von D tattoo liner in Trooper.

Hope you like it, let me know if you try it or something similar!
