A few new favorites

Currently obsessed with these sunflowers the boyfriend got me last weekend at the farmers market. They're absolutely beautiful and brighten up my room so much. Also loving this new organic Joie de Charlotte candle I just got on sale and they look so adorable next to each other.
I found these delicious cookies from Whole Foods last week and they're really high in protein which I love! I like to eat these in between class or at work when I get hungry and it fills me up. It's really big so you can eat half and save the rest for when you get hungry again. They're not low in sugar (of course because they actually taste good), but it's not TOO high (about 15 grams). I just make sure to eat it earlier in the day rather than at night. I love that they have real sugar versus any sugar substitutes. Heads up... the chocolate chip is WAY better than the peanut butter, but I had already eaten that one and this was the only one left I could snap a picture of.
I'm on a huge lavender kick right now. Like I said in my last post, I've been having some trouble falling asleep at night so I've been drinking tea an hour before bed to calm me down and ease my mind. It smells amazing and is so soothing. Lavender has a calming scent and it has tons of benefits! Not only is it aromatherapeutic, but it's amazing for the skin as well. Lavender is one of my favorite essential oils and it's used abundantly in my skincare products. :)

I decided to publish this post today rather than the post I was originally going to. With finals and everything going on right now, I felt the timing wasn't quite right yet and I wanted to post something a little lighter this week. It will be my next one and I'll have it up at the beginning of next week so be on the lookout. I can't wait to share it with you!
