I know I just posted my January favorites, but oh well, February is a shorter month and I'm ahead of the game getting out my February favorites! Things have been super busy around here lately, especially today. Right now I'm in between studying for the two tests that I have this week (one Thursday and one Friday). I am SO ready to get them over with and just be done with this week. I feel like I just don't have enough time to do all of the things I have to get done and I am definitely feeling the stress right about now. I'm trying to keep my cool and just do one thing at a time and not worry about the next, and I have been pretty productive today so that's good. As you can see, I've been changing things a bit on my blog and I'm still trying to get the hang of all this stuff. I'll continue to work on it until I get it the way I want it, but for now it will have to work. Now back to my favorites...
1. First up is NYX liner pencil in Taupe
I LOVE this so much. I have been using it for so many different things lately. It can be used to contour your nose, and your cheekbones for a really chiseled look. I really like using it on my bottom lash line for that shadowy look underneath my eyes. It's not "too much". It can also be used to line your lips and for filling in your eyebrows.
2. Clinique airbrush concealer
I've been using this underneath my eyes and down the center of my nose to highlight. It is very brightening and I really like it as a highlighter. There is only three shades so thats kind of disappointing, but the middle one is perfect for me.
3. MAC lipstick in Peach Blossom
Yes, I finally got it! My boyfriend got this for me for Valentine's Day (I may have hinted a few times). I absolutely LOVE this lipstick. It is the perfect peachy nude and I have been wearing it so much.
4. Trader Joe's natural facial cleansing pads with tea tree oil
I have been loving tea tree oil lately. It is so good for my skin and I love the way it feels on (not the way it smells for sure). I made my own tea tree water (5% pure tea tree oil and 95% water) and have been using it as a toner after I wash my face every morning and night. I like to use these pads if I've worn makeup, because it really gives my skin that squeaky clean feel. I also use them if my skin just feels gross halfway through the day. They are very strong, but I like that feeling and I definitely think that they are helping my skin out tremendously.
What have you been loving lately?
Happy hump day!
Tori
